BiteMath is developed and owned by AeroPrep Labs, LLC. This policy explains what information BiteMath handles and how it is used. BiteMath is designed to keep your information on your device and to stay out of your way.
2 Information you enter
You may enter meals, foods, amounts, recipes, and saved templates. This information is used to calculate carbohydrate estimates and to help you reuse foods and meals you save.
3 Local storage
BiteMath is designed to store meal, food, and recipe information locally on your device. This information stays with you and is not required to be uploaded to use the app.
4 Barcode scanning and camera access
BiteMath may use the camera only for barcode scanning. The camera is used to read a product barcode so BiteMath can look up nutrition information. BiteMath does not use the camera for any other purpose.
5 Nutrition lookup services
When you perform a food search or barcode lookup, BiteMath may contact nutrition data providers, such as USDA and Open Food Facts, to retrieve nutrition information. These requests are used to return food and carbohydrate data for your meals.
6 No sale of personal information
BiteMath does not sell personal information.
7 Children and families
BiteMath is designed to be used by families, including for meal planning that involves children. BiteMath does not intentionally collect sensitive health records. Please use the app in a way that is appropriate for your family.
8 Medical disclaimer
BiteMath does not provide medical advice. BiteMath provides carbohydrate estimates for meal planning support, and nutrition information should be verified with product labels when available. BiteMath is not a medical device and does not provide insulin dosing, treatment decisions, or diagnosis.

We may update this policy as BiteMath evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
